Depends on what you mean by influential. If it’s going to influence people to become accelerationists who think they can actively contribute to acceleration directly, then they are totally deluding themselves. If it’s going to inspire a generation who know that society is inherently accelerative and celebrate any indication that the process is occurring, then you may have a point. I think it is simply ineffectual at the level of praxis, but as a “theory” for social progression it makes sense.
