Everyone knows John 3:16, even people who have never read the Bible.

John's Gospel was the last to be written and counters the most heresies.

John's Gospel contains the most famous miracle of Jesus turning water into wine.

John's Gospel begins with Jesus' divinity.

Everyone loves John, especially Jesus.

Also he could run really fast.

Mark. It's pithy, fun, and has an awesome cliffhanger ending, the others try to tie things up too neatly.
