amazon.com

I'd rather buy a book used for three to six bucks, depending on shipping.

Barnes is too far away, so Borders.

>> No.1505386

Borders just got dropped by two of their major suppliers so they are in for some shit.

Borders has delicious coffee... I prefer to buy books from independants though.

My bigbox of choice. I find it's a lot more econimically viable for me if I buy used and local, though.

I only shop at local book stores.

Some are bigger and have selection that spans the century.

Borders is closer to my house. It also might have a slightly better selection than my local Barnes and Noble.

B&N does have a nice selection of notebooks compared to Borders. I got a pretty cool leather bound notebook about a week ago there.

>> No.1508406

Well, the Borders card was free, so I'll go with them.

>> No.1508411

The Border's by my house is really cramped while the B&N is capacious and tidy. B&N has a more frustrating organisational structure, though, because they remove books from their proper sections to put them on aisle/front displays.

>> No.1508427

Borders.
The one in my town wen tout of business though :'(

>> No.1508429

At times, Border tends to be hokier than Barnes & Noble, with a fuck-ton of self-help, bestsellers, and generally shit nobody cares about. In some areas it kind of has a better selection of books, but that's matched with it's semi-ridiculous prices. Classics there are DOMINATED by the huge selection of Barnes & Noble published classics that you can get for like $5.00.

Their (Borders) e-readers are also pretty sub-par (lolinferior) to the Nook.
