>if you don't believe in my specific metaphysical view you will have to be punished
Where did this come from?
It's not even a purely abrahamic thing.
Vaishnavas seem to claim shaivites are bringing themselves deeper into illusion or into hell.
Buddhist schools constantly went to war with one another and claimed the others would burn in hell for their teachings.

I understand that people have different views but isnt this a field where people should he comparing ideas? Is the idea of hell such a powerful one that you can easily throw your critics in there and not have to think about them anymore?

if your beliefs do not hold exclusivity over the others they are not traditional. what you expect? democratic syncretism? those are anti traditional modern values

That's not an argument.
You're just appealing to the idea of something being traditional.
It doesn't explain why one sect of Islam thinks the other is going to burn in hell.

it's simple: truth is not relative, it is absolute

okay but the "reeee if you dont agree with X my dad will beat up you" attitude comes from resentment and a desire to avenge one's perceived inferiority

So you're saying that people are so stuck in needing what they know to be the absolute truth that anyone who deviates from it is therefore not in the absolute (my) truth and therefore needs to be punished???
The point here is punishment, not why a person believes there ideas over another.

Good question op , the reasoning is Archon, egregore niggers non organic hive mind beings that manipulation any group think structures.
They feed on their adherents and aim to recruit more for complete control over the market (think religion/war/politics) . Earth is more of chicken farm and us being chickens to them . They manipulate us by via group ego, you adopt a religion as part of your identity now you're part of that hive mind ant hill and such structures will eagerly fight other structures for more food.
Think of holy wars the bigger picture is ants fighting ants for abstract ideas and reasoning provided by the entity.
They're behind any social conditioning structure .

Madhva Vaishnavism isn't even a large movement within Vaishnavism as a whole, most Vaishnavas think Trika and Shaktism are simply less efficient means to get back to Godhead.

Read Markandeya Purana for a non-denominational perspective

Is that statement itself only relatively true? If so, then some truth may be absolute. If not, then it's an example of absolute truth in itself, and thus inherently a contradiction of itself.

Non-Dualism is not an equivalent term for Monism.
Qualified Non-Dualism is also much, much different.
Dualism can even mean a constitutional monism within which are functional pairs of phenomenal opposing processes.
Non-Dualism as in Advaita, for example, is opposed to true Monism.

based and correct-pilled, that has been a persistent misconception in both published books and on /lit/ that non-dualism = monism, I'm glad more people are catching on
