An obscure children's sci-fi book which features an alien by the name of "Wulnar Gad". I myself have been unable to re-acquire it. It isn't a Choose Your Own Adventure Book, I don't think, but it's along those lines.

I got a box of old paperbacks from my stepmothers grandparents 10 or so years ago, nothing was written post 1980, most of it in the 70's so I'll throw one out.

Travels in Nihilon - Somewhat surreal novel from the 60s about four travel writers sent to write a guide book about a small country called Nihilon whose constitution is founded on "nihilistic principles". It's not a great book, but an enjoyable read. I realise now there was more depth to it than I did when I first finished it

I wrote a bit about it on my blog a year ago, if anyone is interested..
