Anybody here know much about "interactive fiction"? I've been toying around with Inform 7 as of late and am finding it rather fun.

And yes, calling it "interactive fiction" is a bit of a gimmick

Look up a story called "Photopia." More linear than most stories, but wonderful and simple enough to get the hang of interactive fiction in general.

hmm, I will. I've played through Sand-Dancer, and
thats about it really. It's a funny niche, y'know? Quaint and with a lot of potential, but in many ways so utterly obsolete
