Are there any works of fiction inspired by nondual philosophy? /lit/'s obsession with Rene Guenon and Shankara has finally convinced me to try it out... but I am not yet ready for philosophy or meditation

>> No.15006493

Guénonian (PBUH) fiction...seems as though it could be based. Brothers, recommend him something. I know of nothing outside of Guénon’s (PBUH) rich philosophical works.

Among the many western philosophers, artists and authors who were influenced by him or who heaped praise on him include Carl Schmitt, Georges Bataille, Aleksander Dugin, Antonin Artaud, Olavo de Carvalho, André Breton, Mircea Eliade, Alain Danielou, Julius Evola, André Malraux, Albert Gleizes, René Daumal, Raymond Queneau, Paul Ackerman, Huston Smith, William Chittick, Steve Bannon, Harry Oldmeadow, James Cutsinger and Hossein Nasr. No he is absolutely clueless about Western philosophy. Every time he responds to some Western doctrine he always attacks a caricature, and never addresses possible responses to the objection. For example I am not sure if Guenon or Schuon makes that point, but he says that the problem with rationalism is that it assumes that what cannot be proved also cannot be true, which is a total strawman and has nothing to do with rationalism or any western philosopher. It's just that guenonfags don't read actual philosophy so they wouldn't know if Guenon caricatures his opponents or not.

If that's true then why did the 4th Mughal Emperor Jahangir in his memoirs describe many hours spent in conversation with the Brahmin ascetic Jadrup and write that Jadrup was learned in the science of the Vedānta, which Jahangir writes "is the science of Sufism"
