“It matters what matters we use to think other matters with; it matters what stories we tell to tell other stories with; it matters what knots knot knots, what thoughts think thoughts, what descriptions describe descriptions, what ties tie ties. It matters what stories make worlds, what worlds make stories.”
Anyone read The Cyborg Manifesto or her other works? Very interesting discussion of feminism, technology, politics, and accelerationism.

this is a perfect example of her cringe style, but yes she brings a lot to the table despite (and because of) that

Yeah she's great. Great conceptualization of the position of the subject in the cybernetic era, how subjectivity can be invested in bodies despite their abstraction and piecemeal integration into systems of signs. She writes from a position like that of a Mobius strip, total exteriority turned inward - objects of intepretation turned upon themselves, text attempting to decipher itself. The space between interface, the superficial abyss of the screen that bears it. I really love her perspective.

Just woundering, I always found meta analysis of a subject kind of dangerous, because if You say what stories make worlds, or what descriptions describe descriptions you will executably be looking at it through your bias lenses and you pick what is best on a meta level from the contingent perspective of the common level.
It’s usually painfully obvious when people deconstruct something to only reconstruct it in a way that’s contingent on the deconstructed idea.
