I believe that E-prime's fundamental ideas miss the mark. Although writing in such a way may lead to interesting practice opportunities and linguistic controtions, it seems silly to think that using English without the word "to be" will solve fundamental human problems and disagreements.

Take 'God is all seeing and all knowing'. How do we say that in E-Prime? Perhaps 'God appears to be all seeing and all knowing' but he God cannot be detected by our senses so how could he 'appear' to have traits.
