It's glaringly obvious that young people are being made to sacrifice many parts of their lives for the broader good of society, namely old, vulnerable groups with higher mortality rates. In such an atomised society, there is very little reason to have solidarity with even our neighbors let alone an elderly population that will die out soon anyways.

Look at it from their perspective: If you are a degenerate, being unable to engage in degenerate activity to prevent the possible spread to boomers you don't care about sounds like a raw deal.
