According to the French media he's writing his next novel "Contagion" coming 2022. A depressed called epidemiologist Jean-Michel Thomas is having a mid-life crisis after his wife leaves him for an African Muslim so he creates a virus that only kills blacks. He travels to Africa to spread the virus but later the virus turns out to kill every type of person and ends up killing half the human race accidentally in a few months. Jean-Michel himself has the cure but is only willing to sell it to the WHO (and the entire world) for 20 billion dollars. After they tell him no he uploads a video online where he throws the last remaining vaccine down the toilet and tells the world to fuck off and then shoots himself: but it was all a bluff; there was no cure.
