Feeling alienated by the modern world just want to be a dervish in 16th century ottoman empire. What do Anons?

become orthodox
go to church
partake of the eucharist and divine liturgy
praise God in all you do
live a moral life, get married, raise good kids
pray daily
that's the best you can do

Orthodoxy is music and paintings, nothing more unless you're a monk. The women often dress in miniskirts in church

>Orthodoxy is music and paintings
The music is chanting psalms and hymns, works of the saints and the holy bible. It's very interactive. Our priest uses us to read out parts of his sermons while he repeats and chants in the background. The paintings are icons to venerate - guides pointing to the spiritual realm, there's prostration and constant prayer, sacraments, confession, eucharist which is initiatory...it's the complete package.
It's otherworldly and no other religion has it.

That's very rare and the priests will reprimand them, I've seen some cleavage because we're in a tropical climate and standing for around 2hours gets hot. But 95% of the time it's very conservative.
But even thots need to hear the gospel.

I'd like to believe that it's a given for anybody here on the Slavic side of the Balkans to know about it, so I'll be more surprised if you're outside of that area

Cambodia. We have a russian orthodox church here. Half the liturgy is in russian, half is in english, sometimes a bit is in Cambodian, depending on the audience present.

Nah the malang life will only lead to more alienation plus it's been corrupted by drugs. I would rather join an ottoman tekke/khanqa and be surrounded by bros spending the days gardening and studying and nights drinking coffee and staying up for some Zikr
