If Pink Floyd's "The wall" were a story, it would end in mid-sentence.

Hi, I'd like to return this book. I have a few complaints about its contents. There appears to be hairs growing on the title page and there's a tattoo covering the first line of chapter 3. Also, it smells terrible.

hahah wud if... wud if I just leave out the last half of a sentence in a way that make reader go "wo"
The mid-sentence ending is meaningless because it communicates the exact same thing as any other ambiguous ending. It's just a cheap trick used to impress brainlets.
A proper discussion of unfinished lit would involve books that were left unfinished unintentionally such as Lucretius' The Nature of Things, Gogol's Dead Souls, Musil's The Man Without Qualities, etc.
