Is there a way to quickly scan the pages of a book without having to do it all individually?

theres that one scanner that looks like a desk lamp and does it very quickly, but the short answer is no. the only alternative would be finding a link for someone thats already done it

I'm trying to find African Expedition by Ernst Junger but I cant find a pdf or the book for sale. Apparently the New York Public Library has it so I was thinking of going there and then scanning it

It really pains me to think how sparse the translation work must be for you anglos. Even more so considering that I'd reckon Jünger's style must be a bitch to translate.

I dont speak german but apparently the one on New York is an english translation. Finding translated german books in general is very hard if they're not very well known

yeah theres no alternative. thats just what scanning is but i know theres places that will do it for you, can be kinda cheap sometimes because theyll have the really good equipment that lets them do it extremely fast

Eh it looks like they dont let you take it out of the library and none of the other big public libraries that are listed as having it allow it either, probably because its hard to find
