So I just finished pic related and I’m absolutely floored, part of me wants to start on the sequels as soon as possible but I also have other books I’ve been meaning to read for some time now. Is Messiah just as good or can I put it off for later?

Wow that’s perfect actually, I’m very interested in reading more but didn’t know how much I wanted to dedicate my time to reading a 20+ book series. I’ll probably read all the way through God Emperor but not until I work on some other stuff that’s been collecting dust on my shelf. Thank you friend.

I think Messiah is worth the read immediately and you can take a break after that. It's not as good as Dune of course but it's still good. It mainly focuses on demystifying Paul.

I'm thinking of going down option 4, original I just thinking about the golden path but some anons told me Heretics is actually pretty good if you give it a chance. Only read Dune so far, is it worth it?

I like them, but on Dune itself has been done in trade size, the rest are all currently only massmarket really narrow chunky things. Hopefully the new covers being done now will do all 6 since they have at least done Messiah, currently have a recent trilogy hardback but only have the others in the form of another second trilogy hardback that is really getting to pieces.
