>I embrace the homosexual aesthetics but I really really love women i swear

physical well being is done through healthy food and walking. beyond this shows that you either do it because
-you are bored, aka a failure
-you try to fulfill some power fantasy, sign of betacuckness
-you are a homo, aka a failure
-you do it for women, aka a man devoted to please women even if you claim otherwise, like all men, aka a failure
-you cling to your health, aka a failure living in fear of death

=>you are a pleb as soon as you lift.

I run 2-3 times a week, clocking from 40-100 minutes every session, and after some of these runs I do overhanded pull-ups off of a cement ledge. I do more than most people younger than me (I'm 32) and feel secure with not trying to look like a "/fit/" person. The secret is legitimately enjoying the activity and the philosophy I regard behind it.

Recently I took up the barbell. I’m rail thin so it’s partially for looks. Mostly I intend to be strong. I have been strong before and upperbody strength feels amazing. Being fit makes life a little smoother. This time I’m training legs too

Nope. Vigorous exercises releases neurotransmitters that elevate mood, and therefore increase memory, perception, and vitality. Further, being big, strong, and good at sports increases overall social status, which again improves mood and therefore brain function. If you knew anything about physiology and psychology, and weren't a vain dumbshit, you'd know these things. Oh well.

Is running 5K every other day sufficient or pathetic, anons?

>> No.14769748

I eat more than I should but I work out for about 2 hours every day. In the mornings I do pushups and crunches, afternoon I alternate between dumbbell stuff or pullup and dip station and time on the stationary bike. Evening is light resistance band stuff.

I know I could see more improvement by taking rest days but I'm very routine oriented. I know with my personality that if I start taking days off I'll start finding more excuses to take more days off and eventually I'll stop working out altogether. I think I'm in a good groove now, I've been doing it for years.

Eating too much and never resting is a recipe for never losing wait. The build-up of cortisol is just going aid in storing all those excess calories as fat (it would store fat if you weren't eating enough.) Also, you have the illusion of discipline right now; discipline is being able to do things when you don't necessarily want to do them, not being enslaved to a routine that you have to do (it shows in that you can't control your eating.)

>> No.14770398

Friendly reminder that working out with the goal of getting a good body without steroids is akin to trying to teach a nigger something new. It borders on impossibility, and it's hardly worth the time.

Listening to a good audiobook, debate or response while working out is an excellent way to start the day.
