Bored panicky animals will never be good conversationalists. They will always want more until it hurts. Then they beg for silence. Silence is golden after all. Not everyone knows the value of gold though so people sift through their life trying to find worth. The irony is that not sifting will make you richer. Hard to understand, for sure, so it is no surprise people think there is value in conversation. It feels good to talk and be heard. It is worthless compared to an earned silence.

I am earning my silence as we speak.

I do this all the time on the train, just random things like "so, where you coming from?". I can be a bit forceful sometimes but they usually get the idea the idea quick enough even if they are afraid.

Also, some proof. Right now you think you're smart but you aren't smart until you understand how little you know. So, technically, no one is smart. You think you are though and so you will fail. We have to think we're smart though or any existential crisis would destroy us.

Why do people going through problems always think those problems are universal? It starts to annoy me how often it happens on 4chan, specifically how short-shortsightedly people dish it out as eternal wisdom.

The only thing one could say in a real conversation is "wow, thanks, so insightful, it's not like I didn't already know that" that is if it wasn't completely subjective.

Most of the great-men of history thought they completely excelled in their specific field before any famous achievement.

In conclusion we have the sum of parts whose individual value is worth more than their perceived combined value.
It is such that every human is worth more than they know. Knowing their worth makes them worthless. Hence ideas like destiny, fate and coincidence not only exist but can be quantified thus can be manipulated.
