Subjecting books to 'the hot trend' in general is just disgusting. It obviously works to some extent but just meh, I remember when The Hobbit movies were coming out and they released all of Lotr and The Hobbit with the first movie's poster as the cover. Same thing with Witcher right now, they're printing new copies by the tens of thousands and they're selling like hot cakes but they all have this low effort cover with the series' actors and the huge "Netflix" logo plastered all over them.
It's just very uninspired and a bit sad.
