>my car is broken should I fix it?
>no bro just burn down your car and go walk everywhere you go like it was meant to be, walking is natural

Why do people worship this clown on this board?

because he wrote about how much he hated leftists in the first pages of his most popular work

I've started walking more places lately. I can't help but feel that he's correct. When you walk, you feel so much more free: you're not stuck in a car, you don't need to obey traffic laws, you can go anywhere, etc.

Ted had a bicycle. He's not an anarcho-primitivist, he's just anti-tech and this is mainly because it's unsustainable. He finds tech distasteful, but also has modernist liberal sensibilities by his own admission and finds the ethical consequences of a collapse will have on animals, woman, children etc etc far more of an anathema than "muh nature vally got bulldozed" He's anti-tech because an anti tech world is the only world that will last the coming millenia if not centuries.

My favourite libtard boomer moment from Ted was refusing to do any real investigation as to how the Nazis rose to power or looking into mein kampf when studying how revolutionary groups seized power and galvanized the normies while having no qualms doing the same for communist Russia. He literally gives the excuse of just not liking it/ wanting to be exposed to it. At least he goes into Ireland as well.

It's not hypocrisy if I hate myself every minute I'm on here. And guess what...
I do.

If you didn't live in the US a car-free life isn't even that hard. Public transportation and a bike is enough 99% of the time.

Appeal to hypocrisy is fallacious. Regardless, anyone who is following Ted purely for the aesthetic value of environmentalist needs to be purged from the movement. Whatever your hope of utopia is after the collapse, they must be ignored with the end of technological society being a necessity for the survival of the human race itself. Everyone is getting dragged kicking and screaming into the brave new world, it's not a personal choice to larp in the woods and not bother technophiles.

This is a bad thing. Assigning these works makes students see it as "work" and it's in one ear out the other smartnotes. School work creates a detachment from reality (and thank god as otherwise the conditioning would make people even more pathologically neurotic and consumerist.)

It essentially makes Teds work not "real" and banal. it's coursework.

Well the formula is not that divergent. The nazis just throw in some antisemitism and change class war to class collaboration- as i see it.

I wouldn't say i worship him. But he was right on some stuff i reckon.
