I want to get into lovecraft because I'm told he's one of the best horror writers of all time. Are there any books that collect his best writings in an uncensored form you guys would recommend?

If you have an e-reader then Halcyon Classics' complete Lovecraft is the best option. There are a lot of awful "complete" editions of Lovecraft in print so I'd stick to a best of like Library of America's Lovecraft or the volume approach. Penguin and Harper Collins have the best paperback volumes.

the regular volumes you see on amazon dont censor. Niggerman is the Cat in Rats in the Walls and Red Hook complains about Italians being degenerate and slovenly.
