First day of Intro to Philosophy. My professor said his favorite thinker is Maria Lugones and that we should focus less on old, dead white men. I'm not white myself but found this rhetoric strange. As someone who's been reading the Greeks and Romans for the past year, is there any advice moving forward for me with this professor?
