the only thing I can tell you is that no one outside of fiction is as happy as you imagine. relationships are maybe good for a few months or so depending on how much time you spend together, then they go to shit unless the people involved are very emotionally mature. and then they don't really have that magical intense teenage passion/innocence anymore and are more pragmatic than anything. that is not even to mention the resulting pain and trauma that you have to deal with.
