Like:
>literary: good technique, excellent voice etc but lacks interesting plot
>fiction: good plot, but lacks consistent voice and artistic merit
It almost seems it is always like this: plot is good, it is a masterpiece, but the plot concerns only of seventeen, eighteen, nineteen centuries’ uninteresting chores. Or the plot is located in modern times, words flow from the pages like art, but the story refuses to form a satifying arc.
What i want is Star Wars written by Flaubert or Pulp Fiction written by Faulkner. Where to look?
