Well obviously, because it's much more readable. But I would say that finnegans wake has much more depth and mystery and esoterica which makes it much more intriguing to me

don't read 2666 first, its probably the easier read but its better to read the postmodern classics in chronological order. its really cool to see how they influenced the later books.
