Can how people still take Sam Harris and Jordan Peterson seriously when both of them were exposed?

I knew it was gonna be a Guénon quote before opening, lol.
Anyway, based René didn't even have to exert effort into this ownage; he refuted them in his sleep.

Peterson is a incredible academic, his whole life philosophy shtick is garbage but oh well, most great people are stupid about something, Peterson just happens to put his stupidity on a spotlight

>incredible academic
>implying this is a good thing
Academia is a career not dependent on ingenuity of thought; only on one’s willingness to conform. Not unlike most jobs. You’ll quickly get hacked to pieces if you think outside their globohomo approved lines.
Which is of course what happened to Peterson so he’s “better” than most but he like Shapiro and all the others in OP’s pic ultimately bolster the status quo by being tempered in as supposed “dissident alt-righters”. Their opinions are very mildly critical of the current order. These people aren’t well read, their rhetoric is mediocre and they don’t have original ideas. The fact is that Peterson is popular primarily because people were transfixed by him through their computer screen.
What would qualify one as an “incredible academic” today? There are some academics who‘s work will be read by future generations but they are small and dwindling in number. None of Peterson’s work will be remembered. Maybe he’s “incredible” because he was an inspiring teacher, but again, how noble is this if it merely supports the institutions suffocating free thought?
It’s in fact the
>whole life philosophy shtick
I can give him any credit for because it at least provides some psychological insight that most people never get. He’s ultimately a tick above your average self-help guru.
