Someone who claims some higher level of intellectualism, but really has no substance to it. The more you actually learn about the world, the more you willingly admit that you know hardly anything there is to know.

Pseuds are arrogant fucks convinced of their own superiority. It's one thing to say "I know about this thing. I don't know everything, and that's fine." And it's a different thing entirely to say "I know so much about this thing. As much as there is to know. Let me show you how much I know."
