Japanese literature on the far left shelf, the other two are everything else. Gonna be getting another shelf soon for that pile in the far right that is getting bigger daily.

Different Anon here. I keep going back to skim its Wikipedia page whenever I'm in a French /lit/ mood, and decide against reading it every time. Either I'm proper thick or that catchy title's really doing its job.

I'm reading it right now. Don't have much of an opinion on it yet, not very far in. I might post a review, synopsis, thoughts, etc. when I'm done.

Kershaw's biography of Hitler is great.
Goodwin's new book is great too.
Most of your collection is pretty unimpressive.

I agree.

Journey to the End of the Night is great!
Cummings is good.
Hitchens is good.
I believe that's Stendhal, I see? If so, great.
I hate The Fountainhead. The only book by Ayn Rand I enjoyed was We the Living.

>>1465467
Nice.

>>1465473
I don't like that translation of Cervantes.
I don't like that translation of Petersburg.
I don't like Kerouac.
Bulgakov, Nabokov, Orwell, Joyce: right on!
I didn't think much of Fahrenheit 451.
I hope you read the rest of the Rabbit books.

>>1465477
Cool.

>>1465479

Blurry. Right on with David Foster Wallace. I encourage you to read other books by him as well.

This isn't a very good picture considering how many books are on top of my bookshelf, but it's mostly Shakespeare, Camus, Kafta, H.G. Wells, Harlan Ellison, and F. Scott. Also some unicorn figurines.

while I don't like everything on your shelf by a long shot, I admire you because I can see the crease marks where you actually read everything...unlike a few faggots who posted mostly text books.
