Is lack of focus when reading a sign of low intelligence?

It's actually a sign of high intelligence. Patience and dedication are for retarded normies. The school system, and even books themselves are designed for retarded normies. Geniuses naturally understand everything without having to put any effort into it. Books is useless to anybody that is actually smart.

It could be a sign of adhd. Most likely its because you watch porn, eat fast food, or did anything else that is enjoyable in life. So, you're brain is rewired so that you become a retarded faggot that can't do anything meaningful in life like learning to read

it means you thinker faster then the linguistic valve. Every sentence you do manage to read is one fut further into degradating your poor mind into eternal cementation of the memetic Satan.

Not necessarily low intelligence, just a bit cumbrained from burnt out dopamine receptors, exercise healthy eating and other good habits help me focus better when I’m reading. In addition to better habits in general, just try easing yourself into reading a bit slowly, read small amounts at a time and build up to more over time, start with some easier stuff maybe too, if English is your first language read some Steinbeck or the Buss translations of Dumas, they’re good but also very enjoyable and easy to read. Novellas (again why Steinbeck is good, I’d recommend Cannery Row) are good to start off because you finish them faster satisfying your short attention span, you shouldn’t immediately go into the meme trilogy or Tolstoy like some retards do (though once you’ve started reading more you should go back and start with some of the Greeks)

This and this.

But i also dont know enough about you to give you a good answer. People like you would probably say something like
>its a sign that I can process thoughts faster than the average person and that i actually have a higher iq
But in reality its just a lack of focus, and your scatterbrain doesnt make you special.

>I don't even like porn or videogames,
When I said cumbrain I didn’t just mean porn and masturbation, burnt out dopamine receptors and brain fog can arise from unbalanced fast food diets, heavy imageboard/social media use, drug/alcohol use or watching too much tv. How do you spend your time usually?

could be adhd could be overstimulation. Try to limit screen time and commit to focusing on reading like you might commit to an exercise regimen. pick up a book and focus on reading for as long as you can. Make note of how long it took for your mind to wander. Then try to read at least that much with complete concentration every day, slowly testing your concentration by giving slight bumps to the length of your reading periodically. As they say, the brain is a muscle...
