This must have been the worst book I've ever read; not even the inconsistency of the premises, but the sheer lack of scope. How many freaking times can you say the same thing, over and over again? At least 200 pages too long, what a waste of time that was.

It is a complete piece of crap, but it's hilariously edgy. Stirner's philosophy is itself, a nothing to him, but, it was truly quite edgy to spit in Hegel's face like that at the time. That's why we love it.

I'm a big Stirner Fan and I can't refute any of those claims because they are true. The book is way too long and drones on about completely retarded shit often. I love the message and the meme though, so I will keep spook posting.

i think his core ideas are pretty smart but yes it repeats itself and is way too long.

i was sick and depressive when i last read it and it seemed a kind of despairing philosophy to me. i hope to read it again some day when i'm feeling on top and have a laff at life and spooks with max as one who knows his own property and power
