How long do you normally read for in a single sitting?
I read every morning for about 90 minutes, but after that I get pretty tired of it, even if I really enjoy what I'm reading. I've tried using modafinil and recently some ritalin but it doesn't really hit the spot for me and I still lose interest around the same time or even less (moda + caffeine makes me jittery).
Is it all a discipline/focus issue when it comes to long reading times? I'd love to sit and read for 8 hours straight.

an hour or more before bed, and however much i can or want to during the day, from 30min to 3 hours or so.
i read 100+ pages a day, often 200-300, but then there are days i barely read, if at all.

I read almost all day and don't even manage to read more than 50 pages :(

Read 25 minutes at a time. Take 5 minutes to look outside, think about the contents of the book you're reading. Diffuse thinking will help you understand the book better.

An hour before work, 2 hours after work, and on my days off I'll read for the first 2-3 hours of the day (3 hours today) and probably another hour or two sometime before I start to get too tired. The goal is somewhere between 80-150 pages on any given day. I used to read only 60 but I thought, why stop? I'm enjoying myself, I might as well keep reading if I have nothing better to do at the moment. I just drink coffee but that's not for attention as much as it is out of comfort. Pills are for euthanasia candidates.

This is why americans should be literally erased from the face of Earth. Braindead motherfucking retards, God only knows how much I hate this bullshit and their dumb mentality of fat lazy degenerates.

do you read dense non-fiction? i can slow down to 30 pages an hour from my usual 60 if it's complex or in foreign language, and if it's truly unreadable, i'll drop it. last year i dropped about 3 or 4 books this way

performance-enhancing drugs only truly work if you take them secretly and illegaly. if it's public, and for some kids even mandatory, it feels like some burgerpunk happy pill hell
