This

In general, I don't think serious people here like him. Theres just 4-5 people who spam him. That being said, theres probably even less than 4-5 serious people here, but still.

It's strange. I feel like the deleuze era and the accelerationism thread had several somewhat productive discussions, and deleuze is an infinitely more difficult philosopher than guenon is.

René-Jean-Marie-Joseph Guénon (French: [ʁəne ʒan maʁi ʒozɛf ɡenɔ̃]; 15 November 1886 – 7 January 1951), also known as ʿAbd al-Wāḥid Yaḥyá (Arabic: عبد الواحد يحيى) after his conversion to Islam, was a French author and intellectual who remains an influential figure in the domain of metaphysics, having written on topics ranging from sacred science and traditional studies, to symbolism and initiation.

He wrote and published in French, and his works have been translated into more than twenty languages. He is considered to be an important writer in the Traditionalist School of philosophy. Guénon's philosophy had a "charismatic impact" on Traditionalist authors.
