I'm actually confused if I like or dislike that bookshelf transforming into bookthrone. On one hand, it's intimidating. On the other hand, the only 2 books I recognize there are Narnia (good) and Arthemis Fowl (isn't it for kids?)

I like how he’s preaching this idea that there is a right way to write a novel. There isn’t, you can create something genius when not conforming to the typical conventions of what a novel is in any way, for example Joyce or Woolf

He's more criticizing it according to these standards for the comedic effect + video length. He's talked about Ulysses before and acknowledges that it's a good book but he personally dislikes the stream-of-conciousness
