just finished exodus.
was blown away by the fact that there are 2 sets of 10 commandments, also god REALLY hates leavened bread.
there's supposed to be 3 holidays every year but i have never heard them, I guess most people doesnt celebrate them. moses physically sees god many times yet the book contradicts itself by saying anyone who does would die. also, it was pretty cool when god claimed he would kill the egytian gods, shame there isn't a story about that fight. finally, abaddon here is an angel but later post-biblical texts would make him a demon
all in all 7/10 much better than genesis

>moses physically sees god many times
Not really. He's in God's presence. He sees God physically only once but it's his back.
It is hard to understand, especially Exodus 24:10. Did they just see his glory?

>Exodus 33:11 The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.

>Exodus 33:20 But" he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.”

Maybe God was appearing in physical form when he talked to him like he did Abraham and not his true form? Don't know. Just trying to wrap my head around it
