It's been a while since I read his shit, but I don't believe he does. Even then, despite the fact that agriculture led to mass civilization and systematized abuses, pre-agriculture times weren't very good either. From forensic evidence, we have been able to determine that early humans and other hominins lived short and brutal lives---most remains display violent injuries, a large portion of the sexual reproduction was by rape, and there have been children's remains found that indicate that we and our cousins were on the menu for large predators.
