Anon before every great human war we deprive the male of sex to build the fire on which they throw themselves in abandon.

Victor killed his wife in disgust at what he had created. The monster literally never knew female companionship.

Maybe Frankenstein was the real monster all along.

The first "justified" incel. Even than, I'd wager a guess others depicted similar figures before Shelley, although none come to mind.

Anyone else frustrated with Victor's actions throughout the novel? Much of his reactions to his creations demands came off as hair brained/selfish. If he where truly opposed to giving into his monster's demands, he should've offered up his own life, as opposed to those he held dear to him.

Sounds like a teenage girl inventing a character that she thinks is cool and tragic and masculine.

Not really, it's more of a bad father type of story. His rage has little to do with the inability to have a woman but almost everything with being the mobster his father created

I always wondered why Frankenstein's monster wasn't just called Frankenstein. Victor was his son, correct?
