What is the most high-brow literature that you can expect a woman to enjoy? I notice a trend among literature-interested women enjoying certain authors or books. They tend to like Kafka, Murakami, Dostoevsky, philosophy, psychoanalysis and sometimes postmodernism. They also tend to not be fond of poetry, epic poetry, and books about male emotions (ie. Young Werther). There has to be some kind of female canon available somewhere. Maybe a woman has a blog or a Goodreads account where there's an easily available list of this type of canon. Can someone help me find it?

>Dostoevsky

But women can't understand Dostoevsky.

Any literature. Women are intelligent and contribute to society.

Neither of your replies help me. Even a personal anecdote of this type of woman would help.

Should I re-post this thread but find a photo of some big-breasted woman to put along side it? I find it a cheap way to get replies, but it seems like nothing else works on this board.

I'm making a request for myself. My intention isn't to provide "quality" content for you, diaper-shitting child.
Go back to your 100 threads about pornography, politics, sexual frustration, and memes which border on 2011 style rage comics.

The problem is, many women are endlessly self-absorbed. A normal woman can read and enjoy anything proportional to her intelligence. A woman who's as obsessed with being admired as modern bougie girls are won't give the time of day to anything that can't be pimped for likes.

Gotta find a non-bougie. My advice is to avoid the universities, they're dominated by bougies to the exclusion of all else.

I don't know I'm going to recite the Iliad to this classicist girl and I'll see if she likes it. Problem is how, I don't when or in whhst context. Should I just go near her and start reciting?

That's way too autistic. Best case scenario is that she'll realize you're autistic and continue the conversation out of sympathy.

their only important contribute to the society is birthing kids anything other than that was either invented by men done better by men or would have been done better by men if they had an interest in it

My mom's favorite book is the classical Chinese book A Dream of Red Mansions, really quite as highbrow as you can get, but she's Chinese herself so idk

She did read Proust in Chinese and stopped after the second book In the Shadow of Young Girls in Flower which is actually a pretty patrician point to stop

Do women like Dostoevsky? I recently got a chick into him, but on that same vein I also recommended him to another girl and she said "Thanks... I think I'll stick with my Atwood". It seems they usually just read the authors that have recently had their books turned into movies.
