What else is there in the vein of Debord's "Spectacle", Zizek's "Ideology, Adorno's "Culture Industry" Baudrillard's Simulacrum?

20th century philosopher-scientists were usually pretty based without the theatrical flair and flowery prose of the aforementioned authors.

Literally anyone. Just pick a field and look up famous scientists. They’re bound to have a written a book with themes splittingly similar to SotS and such, or you can draw the parallels of such books in more technically jargon and terminology.

Another person you may want to consider is George W. Morgan and his book The Human Predicament: Dissolution and Wholeness. His buzzword contribution is "prosaic mentality". The was published in the late 60's and is long out of print, but it's still relevant and you can find used copies at cheap prices.

>Hardt and Negri
Even with their central thesis being pretty much totally untrue I still found Empire to be an extremely enjoyable read. I want to read more of Negri and Italian Autonomist stuff.
