So I've been researching the deep state, and it has become apparent to me that the American left has become extremely uncomfortable with possessing and making use of power. They disavow it, deny that it exists, or they project all the power onto their enemies. But the left actually has a lot of power. The progressive neoliberals I mean. Yet they will continue to affect that they are just like the youth. I'm powerless and broke too, millenials, gen z, etc

On the contrary. Left wing pushes for progress, change, penetrating new places, and is a strictly masculine idea. Right wing is all about preserving what you have, protection, peace and quiet, a strictly feminine idea. If left wing were a person it'd be a revolutionary or an artist. I don't think that's quite right, the left is about the Rational Government in some sense, while the right isn't, but doesn't necessarily reject change. If anything there's been something of a re-alignment post-Hitler, as left-right is now defined in practice by one's views on National Socialism, as opposed to being defined by one's views on the French Revolution pre-Hitler.
