Anybody who doesn't at least read Jane Austen, George Eliot, and Emily Bronte is missing out, they're all quite good writers. Especially Austen and Eliot. I've never been able to figure out why Austen particularly makes this board seethe.

No no no. I don't simply refuse to read female authors. I hunt female-written books (or trash, as I like to call it) in bookshops and smear them with my own excrement. This is a statement of it's intellectual quality, as an unsuspecting person opens the novel as inhales the fecal fragrance, he shall know - a woman wrote these lines.
