As an amateur archivist, illuminate me as to how I would repair book damage, including but not limited to: creased pages, warped pages (from water), stains, scratches (the attached image exemplī grātiā), tears and suchlike. I have hitherto been rather indifferent to a books condition so long as the pages aren’t creased or the cover ruined, but this book I purchased drew closer attention to the aesthetic art.
For the apt respondants’ conversational sake, I have recently read ‘The Tudors: A Very Short Introduction’ by John Guy (a generic name by all means, I know, ‘China and the Manchus’ by Herbert Giles, ‘People’s War, People’s Army’ by Vo Nguyen Giap and ‘The Asian Revolution and Australia’ by various authors (mainly university professors) for a conference on policy, all in the space of a month. I also digested ‘Alpha Beta’ by John Man prior to that, which I consider the best of the lot.

I have more pressing concerns.
I would also like to declare that anyone who writes in books are heretics and should be burnt on the steak; it ruins it for the next person.
Merry Christmas to whomever reads this!
