Hey /lit/, what do you guys use to download books? Are they on mediafire or something? Thanks, greetings from /mu/.

>> No.1442287

Bump, have I come across a taboo /lit/ subject or something?

>> No.1442292

Downloading books for free? That's preposterous!!

>> No.1442299

Hold on there, Seth. /lit/'s a slow board, and most of our posting base is at school right now, so it's even slower.

If you're looking for older books that would be in the public domain, try Project Gutenberg. It's both free AND legal.

There's also the Sandy Gunfox archive that has quite a few works in it, and I hear that includes a lot of genre fiction (Sci-fi/fantasy), so if that's what you're looking for, best of luck. http://www.nautilus-solar.net/SandyGunfox/

For most general works, there's an irc channel called #bookz, on the irc.undernet.org server (or whatever), that can provide.

Also some other sites that I can never remember.

You haven't found a taboo, merely a slow board where other threads take presidence over threads we have every hour.

irc://irc.undernet.org/bookz

Now go back to /mu/ you parasitic societal leech.

Thank you very much /lit/, sorry, I've never been here before. Love from /mu/, I'm gonna go be a parasite ^.^
