Not surprising that this is supposed to be a "High School" reading list considering it is /sp/. My school had us reading Rand and Shakespeare in middle school. They are probably much happier though. I am very much always depressed.

To Kill A Mockingbird was an easy read in 7th grade

Can't say I'm surprised. /sp/ is one of the better boards, they're also very jack-of-all trades types.

the latter is true, the former is... they're very funny when they're not getting bogged down in euro/american trolling, really kind of shockingly funny, but there's not a lot of high level discussion there.

but yeah, come to think of it, i would probably put /sp/ in the top tier of boards

Were you home-schooled by Alan Greenspan or something?

It was actually an extremely leftist school but they liked to give us a "varied perspective" in order to "form our own opinions". Mostly everyone hated Rand for being crazy after reading Anthem. We read Shrugged first which was also universally disliked.

I don't want to make this thread about me though.

I don't know either, it seems there isn't a reason to lie to you.
