I'm looking for a story.

A story about a man. A good man. A man who didn't compromise his morals. A man who stood tall and fought everything wrong in this world. A man who fought and lost. Lost hard. Utterly beaten in every way you could beat a man. A man beaten until he isn't a man anymore. He becomes an animal. An animal so wild and vicious that he takes on the world again and wins. But not really. Because in doing so he compromised his morals. He schemed and fought not just whats wrong, but what's right too.
