ULYSSES
by James Joyce
as you just read Portrait. Check out Dubliners first if you haven't already.

THE LIFE AND TIMES OF MICHAEL K
by JM Coatzee
is another one you might like. Aligns well with some of your interests. (Kafka, Celine, Hamsun). Plus it's a quick read.

THE ROAD and THE BORDER TRILOGY
by Cormac McCarthy.
are similar to Hamsun, and would also segue well into reading Moby-Dick.

Also check out 19th century Russians such as Gogol and Dostoevsky. They influenced a lot of what you read.

I've never seen a psychoanalysis chart but the best place to start is with Freud. His writing is very readable. Where to start depends on what you're interested in.

The unconscious: start with The Interpretation of Dreams
Sexuality: start with Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality
Id, ego, superego: start with The Ego and the Id
Modern society: start with Civilization and its Discontents

Or if you want a sampling of the breadth of psychoanalysis, you could start with Introductory Lectures on Psychoanalysis, which were lectures Freud gave to the public. It's a pretty long book though, about 600 pages, and there were some follow up lectures collected in New Introductory Lectures on Psychoanalysis.
