What kind of pens do you nerdlingers like to scribble with?

I'm partial to these.

I use a pencil too. It feels and sounds much more pleasing.

This is a bit of a silly thread though, I have to say.

As do I. My friends and I always called them "scratchy pens" because of how they feel on the paper. They were so popular in our little group they became a form of currency.

I think the last time I used a pencil it was for a Scantron test.

In all seriousness though it can write in the rain, upside down, after being in sub-zero temperatures, etc.

I'm actually very picky about my pens. I have the same pen as the OP, but I switch pens depending on the type of paper I'm writing on. I also have a few .1mm archival pens, as well as .5 needle point rolling ball pen made by Foray that I can no longer find in any office supply stores. I'm glad I bought a big box of them when I found them, because they're my favorites. Can't find a picture of them right now.
