Since this is /lit/, I am currently reading Legacy of Ashes: A History of the CIA which frankly isn’t that good, and just finished Kafka’s The Metamorphosis and Orlando Fige’s A People’s Tragedy, which were both quite enjoyable. /lit/ seems pretty impervious to these things. Shallow /pol/posting are seen as obvious discord zoomers, shallow leftists are seen as obvious chaponiggers, trannies are despised by everybody, and twitter e-celeb faggots and other "social media philosophies" (AKA trannies) seem to get a particularly bad reception.

I'd say /lit/ has a nice, healthy level of racism and antisemitism, without being reddity about it. The misogyny level is also pretty good.

This. The waves that makes a substantial impact come from nowhere, and all the external threats get dissected, analyzed, and snuffed out pretty quickly. The only exception to this was the Peterson wave, but I think even then /lit/ parsed what was valuable from him (i.e., the same tendency to advocate basic existential thought via reading) and moved on.

Everybody hates trannies. Trannies are the ultimate shit test of a dying civilization. For a few years there I thought people were actually failing the test, but it turns out, trannies are bad enough that even brainwashed average joes fucking hate them out of sheer instinct.
