do you still buy hardbacks?

>> No.14325744

Hardbacks are great. They look nice and last longer than paperbacks too. I only get them for books that are worth it though, some can be a bit pricey.

what's the point? bigger books are difficult to read in hardbacks, can buy 2-3 paperbacks for the price of one...

I have a job so I can afford to buy them. I don't have a problem reading bigger books either.

How do you know which books are worth it before you've actually read them?

This

I have a job as well but you wont catch me pissing any cash away on hardcovers unless I absolutely have to.

I exclusively buy hardbacks unless I don't have a choice but I also buy a lot of my books used so the price difference doesn't typically matter.

Fuck no. I bind my own

Yes but as the first anon said they look nicer and tend to last a lot longer. Still have plenty of my grandfathers hardbacks that look brad new, paperbacks tend to fall apart after some time.
