I actually tested this in my local college.

I basically exclusively wrote essays critiquing affirmative action for blacks, other essays discussing absent fathers, masculinity and high crime. I received an A, though the professor was very interested in a dialogue after each essay.

Same as English but wrote essays about women that'd be considered conservative, still got A's, etc.

And I did this sort of "antagonistic" approach for every class, every year for community college and state college; for fun. All the teachers were nice to me.

I put the same amount of effort in that class as my other required anthropology class, english classes, Philosophy classes, and theater classes etc., which is enough, and I got a's and b's in all of them except one religion class where I got a C- because I didn't put in enough effort because I had a tough workload that semester in my math classes and the teacher, who I respected more than almost any professor I've ever had, demanded a bit too much, and an Environmental Ethics class where I got a C+ or B- because I just despised that class too much to actually put in the work, but again deserved the grade. This immigration class was the only time I've ever felt hopeless, and if you saw the nature of the class you would agree. Why can we not accept I had a lousy teache and got fucked over? Why is everyone so apt to make all injustices against someone their own fault. I'm sorry.
