after reading the first chapter I realized that throughout my education I was made to believe that I should have no heart by being overly 'rational' and selfish. I feel like I was the kid that read the green book in school. only after falling in love with cinema, art and literature, after high school, I learned that I have a heart.

I read that after high school a while back and loved it, he really worded his arguments perfectly to give them some sort of legitimacy in my mind and once i started thinking like he thinks I could escape that overly individualist and self centered lifestyle that the rest of the world is suffering through.
