My guess is that you've spent a lifetime of receiving pleas of artificial sympathy for Jews, framed by obviously inauthentic emotional appeals, but now, when you read fairly plain and straightf accounts of other world atrocities that simply happened, to which no sweeping ulterior geopolitical movies exist, it's sprung out of your soul authentic human empathy. Jews are one of the only groups in society that do have a clear privilege purely based on being Jews, and have their whole religion based on lacking affection for nonjews.
